Description

Ktounia was built By Irene Noel-Baker, as a retreat, when she wanted to get away

from the busy workings of the Candili Estate.

A house in an olive grove situated on an estate in Northern Euobea, surrounded by forests and mountains. It has its own plunge pool fed by a natural spring.

The location is isolated and peaceful, like no other, perfect for writers and artists looking for inspiration, or couples who want to escape together.

Ktounia has no electricity: there are two fireplaces, a wood-fired boiler for hot baths, and we supply candles aplenty! The kitchen is fully equipped, with a gas-fired fridge and stove. The house is ideal for couples, perhaps with a child or two. It comprises a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, an open plan kitchen and sitting room with three single sofa beds.
